Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is one of the largest professions of primary care in Ontario. It is a non-invasive, hands-on healthcare specialization with a focus on optimal health.

As chiropractors, we practice a manual approach to your health and lifestyle. We provide diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care for spine, pelvis, nervous system, and joint-related disorders.

We will develop a specialized health care plan for you using a combination of treatments based on your individual or family needs. By taking a complete history and diagnosis, we will work with you to carry out a comprehensive treatment plan, recommend exercise plans, and provide counselling about nutrition, dietary recommendations, and an overall healthy lifestyle.

Chiropractic care is the primary method of treatment for a number of conditions, including the following:

  • Back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Headache
  • Whiplash
  • Strains and sprains
  • Repetitive strain injury (RSI)
  • Work and sports injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Limited range of motion in the back, shoulder, neck or limbs
  • General health and well-being

Types of Chiropractic Care

Wellness Care

This type of chiropractic care focuses on preventing issues before they arise and maintaining a healthy spine for optimal performance and longevity, by combining modern science with ancestral wisdom.

It is important to understand that repetitive, daily stressors such as sitting, sedentary lifestyle, sports injuries, childhood falls, or use of technology may cause chronic pain in the long-term. Wellness care can be a healthy lifestyle choice for you and your family, along with other habits to improve our minds and bodies.

Symptomatic Care

Short-term chiropractic care can help get you back to health after a sudden issue or injury. This approach to care treats the specific symptoms that you are experiencing. Once resolved, we will guide and educate you through a proactive, preventative approach to prevent future issues.

Corrective Care

Chiropractic care can be focused on addressing spinal alignment and posture, using an individualized program of care including chiropractic, targeted postural education, and exercises.

This more intensive type of chiropractic care may be required with chronic injuries. After an injury, your tissues may heal, but muscles can develop habits that outlast the injury. Corrective care aims to address those problems.

Health Supplementation

Although our primary nutritional recommendations includes real, nutrient-dense foods, combining modern science with ancestral wisdom, we will also recommend additional health supplementations. Experience and research have shown that individual supplementation is required for optimal health and longevity.

Foot Optimization

Foot mechanics and foot function are essential to the proper alignment of the body. We can help you by teaching proper foot restoration techniques through tools, exercises, barefoot/human footwear recommendations and hands-on care. Orthotics may also be prescribed as needed under certain conditions.
